I always wanted to look at the Canadian Income and expense Distribution Pie-Chart. Above all I wanted the data to be interactive. HTML5 or jquery is too much to work with and the other nicer tools are costly. Therefore I planned to use Google Chart. Had to add some imagination to it and I came up with a makeshift solution.
You can look at the expenses of five income types. If you move the bottom slider then it runs through Q1-2010 to Q2-2011. These are actually not quarters. These are Canadian population sections.

A twitter user named @Canadian Watchdog, twitted these numbers few days ago. I am just trying to visualize the numbers. I only wish I had a better tool to plot a pie chart. Don’t’ forget – Lies, damn lies and then statistics.
